RESIDENCE-IN-NATURE
A production residency based in Lainio and surroundings
A nomad artist-driven experience based on lectures, workshops, cultural visits and presentations. The residency will be ongoing for two years and the first result of the process will be exhibited at Luleå Biennial in November 2018.
When. It began in June 2018 and it will continue for 2 years.
Where. Lainio, outside Kiruna (field trips in Luleå and Kiruna)
Who. The selected artists who participate are: Gustaf Nordenskiöld (Swe), Hans Isaksson (Swe), Ingvild Holm (Nor), Johanna Gustafsson Furst (Nor), Koncentrat (Swe), Lisa Torell (Swe), Markus Vallien (Swe), Oscar Männikkö (Swe) and Åsa Jungnelius (Swe)

The next step.
As part of the Luleå Biennial (17th November 2018 - 17th February 2019), the artists involved in the project are producing an exhibition across two sites in Lainio and Norrbottens Museum in Luleå.
